In the first quarter of 2025, the sandbox gaming genre on Android in Malta experienced varied performance among the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $3K at the end of March. Despite fluctuations, the revenue trend was generally upward. Weekly downloads began the quarter at around 400 and gradually decreased to about 230 by the end of March.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! by Mojang displayed a stable download trend, maintaining around 7 downloads per week throughout the quarter. Revenue experienced slight fluctuations, starting at $134 and closing the quarter at $150.
